Venom Inc was formed In 2004 by TN1 and Agent X as a small collective of DJs playing on the Free Party and Warehouse circuit in London and the southern UK, quickly gaining a reputation for pushing a darker, more techno-edged take on Drum & Bass.

In 2007 Venom Inc Recordings was born with a mission to platform music that aligned with the collective's approach to the events and radio shows they regularly appeared on. A distribution deal was secured and the first vinyl release appeared in 2008.

Over the next 4 years the label oversaw a number of vinyl and digital releases from a multitude of talented artists including Current Value, The Sect, Pyro and many more. Eventually the label was put on hiatus and the original collective disbanded.

In 2020 the label was re-launched as VIA, headed up by the original founder, TN1. The ethos of blurring the lines between Techno and Drum & Bass is still the driving force behind VIA, with new releases from Kemal, Section 63, D-Struct, Yin Yang Audio and Diasiva, among others.

Today the label's operations are managed by Section 63, with TN1 acting as creative director. Innovation, quality control and integrity are the core values that set the direction of VIA. No compromises, no gimmicks, just the music we love.
